4th “Cazadores de Imágenes” Exhibition: a selection of the best photographs from the 4th Jalón Ángel International Photography Award

The 4th “Cazadores de Imágenes” exhibition will open for the fourth consecutive year at the Museum of Zaragoza. A new aspect of this edition is the addition of the winning photographs of the 4th Jalón Ángel International Photograph Award and with the best photographs selected by the jury of the more than 2,200 participants. The opening ceremony will take place Tuesday, 12 March at 6:30 p.m.

The winners of the 2018 Prize, Debdatta Chakraborty (portrait) and Nity Jannatul (travel), together with the special mentions in both categories will share space with 30 more authors selected by the jury with the best scores. The sample of 36 images is organised by the Jalón Ángel Archive (San Jorge University/San Valero Group), curated by the professor of the San Jorge University, Pilar Irala-Hortal and coordinated by the head of Management Alicia Mellén. On this occasion, the MoosesBildwerk studio is also collaborating in the printing of the photographs.

In addition, the photographs that obtained the special mention in each of the categories will also be exhibited. The authors are Jesús Blasco de Avellaneda and Sadiel Mederos (Portrait) and Teo Liak Song and Javier Arcenillas (Travel).

Among the authors are photographers with important careers who have won international awards including the Sony World Photography Awards, BBC Wildlife Photo Contest, Street Photography International - Street Awards (Leica Camera), Magnum Photography Awards and Photographer of the Year. In addition, photographers include collaborators from internationally renowned magazines, agencies and media such as the National Geographic, European PressPhoto Agency, The Times of India, The New York Times, Der Spiegel, CNN and BBC, among others.
